Not so long a go I visited a friend of mine who is a medium, who told me about some changes that would happen in my life. Now some of you may not believe in mediums. I am open to all experiences and it’s probably why I’ve ended up doing such amazing things in my life. I was looking at my bucket list today and realised that I have almost ticked everything off my list, so I’ll need to start a new one soon. So what’s left on my list? I’ve still got to buy my converted barn, so I think I may have to work 24:7 (or smartly) to achieve that by the end of 2013, or I need to find a rich husband (laughs out loud). Funnily enough I feel the first one is more likely, as I look in the mirror at this rather independent individual known as myself. Although I am still looking for that pint sized blonde snowboarder, but that’s another story. Have you got goals or a bucket list but not the self-confidence to go out and do them? Why not give me a call? Hypnotherapy may be life changing for you. It certainly was for me. Becky www.BeckyWells.com 07801 941949 becky@beckywells.com

Seven days have already passed of this New Year. How many of you have already been tempted by one of the seven deadly sins? Pride has been called the sin from which all the others arise. Pride may also be known as Vanity. Were you offered help but your pride stopped you accepting it? Hypnotherapy for pride may help develop a personal pride that is needed in building up self-image, self-confidence and the ability to allow others to help whilst still feeling in control. Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation. Have you watched other people and been envious of all that they are doing? Do you forget all the amazing stuff that you actually achieved yourself? Again with hypnotherapy for envy, it may be that one of the sessions is to do with self-esteem, allowing the individual’s subconscious mind to realise all the things it already has. Gluttony is a desire to consume more than one requires. Do you eat just because it’s in front of you, feel full and carry on eating? There are many ways of working with food issues using hypnotherapy. We look at past events which have lead to the food issues, to some of my clients favorite ones, avoiding sweet stuff completely. Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body. Again there are many ways hypnotherapy may help with all sexual issues such as teaching relaxation techniques to preventing over excitement. Anger also known as Wrath. Hypnotherapy can be used in many situations, from teaching someone how to stay in control using relaxation techniques. A good example of this is road rage, being able to control your temper instead of getting angry at another driver or pedestrian. Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of spiritual gain. Are you always trying to gain that extra dollar no matter what the consequences? Hypnotherapy can help you to learn to slow down and allows others to gain. Have you ever helped someone and later found out they will help you in the future more than you can ever imagine That older person in the street, might just be the Mother or Father of someone who will change your life because you did a good deed with no material gain. Again it may be using hypnotherapy to help you gain the confidence to make that connection. Sloth or extreme laziness is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work. If you lack confidence this can come across as laziness or maybe fear of the unknown. Hypnotherapy may help with fear, anxiety, and confidence issues. Hypnotherapy is used for so many reasons, it really isn’t some form of medieval magic. It just helps the conscious mind to relax and allow the amazing subconscious mind to work at its best. Why not give me a call to book that first session. I am currently based in Harley Street London and Sussex. Let’s start to break down those deadly sins. Becky 07801 941949 becky@beckywells.com www.BeckyWells.com With all the colds and coughs around I think I should wish everyone a speedy return to full health and fitness. I was just sitting down and wondering where the last 10 days went. One minute it's Christmas Eve and the next everyone is talking about going back to work. I had good intentions to get lots done, good intentions unfortunately did not translate into actions until now! I love to be organised in my work, so I have spent the last two days updating my accounts, filing paperwork and clearing the build-up of post-it notes! Have you ever wondered what hypnotherapy may help with? Here's just a few of them, each day I'll add a few more the list. Being More Confident Be More Outgoing Blushing Confidence Increasing Self Esteem A lot of people wonder if they can be hypnotised? All I will say to you is - have you been driving and wondered how you got to a certain place without remembering the middle part of the journey? Your subconscious mind was fully in control, it's an amazing part of us which controls things we do without us having to be consciously aware of it! Do you wonder if hypnotherapy can help you? Drop me a line or call and ask me. I would love to hear from you. becky@beckwells.com 07801 941949 www.beckywells.com If someone had suggested to me a few years ago that I'd be running round a field chased by zombies and ghouls just outside Crawley I would have laughed.
Tulley's farm has put a lot of effort into providing entertainment for all at their spooktacular event that runs for two weeks of the year. I recommend it if you haven't been. Jonathan Ross was there enjoying it the other day. Not sure if I consider him more scary than the attractions! My Kung Fu training is going well, I guess it helps having a 1:1 instructor. I love the challenge of learning the next section each week. Hypnotherapy can help you with fear of the unknown, or to help improve your sporting performance using techniques like visualisation, focusing and relaxation. I also think it's so important to link with other professionals. One of the things I have tried to do in the last few months is meet up with others in Sussex and London. A good network is such an important asset to any business. I was also impressed to find I had made an appearance in Glamour Magazine November 2012 issue on page 298, a feature with Matt Roberts and the So what's on the agenda next week? I am off to meet a couple of health professionals in London. If I like what I find,! I am hoping be able to refer clients to them over the coming months where appropriae. I've also been given the opportunity to try an Ayurvedic treatment. I'm looking forward to experiencing it. Why not book an appointment with me at my Harley Street clinic or in one of my clinics down in Sussex. I was beginning to feel like I’d been attached to a yo-yo. The week started off with a trip up to London, only to be told my client didn’t realise they were booked in! So I made use of the time and explore London on foot by walking back from Knightsbridge to Victoria. It’s surprising how close everything really is when you start walking. Also on a sad note for me, I lost a family pet, who had become a large part of the Wells family life. I think you only realise how much they affect you when they’re not there anymore. There’s that glance when you move the chair so as not to catch them with it, or that moment as you go to say goodbye as you walk out the door and you remember he’s not there. Who’s going to tidy the slippers left on the floor now! I was lucky enough to have had the honour to share his life and for that I will always be grateful. So what else have I been up to? This week saw me taking my second one-to-one lesson in Kung Fu with the Kung Fu School Crawley. Dave, my instructor, is very patient. I have learnt so much in the first couple of sessions. For me it’s a great new hobby. Kung Fu translates to ‘achievement of man’. It’s helping me focus on the fact that with time and energy, anything can be achieved. You may be wondering what all this has to do with hypnotherapy or the other work that I do? Hypnotherapy is one of many therapies that can help you through the stages of loss. Having someone to talk to when everything seems against you, is like trying to jump that eight foot wall but never quite reaching it, until a friendly pair of hands gives you a lift over. Learning to relax and live in the moment, rather than dwelling on a past that cannot be changed, can be a life changing experience. Let’s see what October’s got in store for us apart from Ghosts and Ghouls… Oh and of course my yearly trip out on my broomstick on the 31st!
