If you are anything like me you’ll have hundreds of clothes in your cupboards and drawers but you are drawn to go out in the same comfy outfit. It’s a bit like some of those habits we picked up, nail biting, hair pulling, and maybe even blushing. So how have I helped people by using Hypnotherapy? By focusing on the positive aspects and replacing bad thought patterns with good ones in the subconscious, clients report almost instant relief as they feel free of the limiting habits. Do you have a habit you wish you could kick? Let me help you line up the goal posts to set up that perfect shot. Becky www.beckywells.com 07801 941949 [email protected]

Schools are getting ready to open their doors, shops are emptying of uniforms. It's that time of year again when most parents breath a sigh of relief as their children go back to school. Teachers prepare for the onslaught of manic kids, exams and the mountains of paperwork that the authorities demand these days.
Hypnotherapy for anxiety features high on my treatment lists this time of year. Have you ever had that feeling that it's all just too much? Even trying to sleep your mind buzzes with thoughts that normally just wouldn't matter. So why does hypnotherapy for anxiety help in most cases. Firstly I like to teach my client total relaxation. Just allowing them to go in a deep relaxation helps the subconscious take a nice long deep breath from within. Then on the following sessions I show them how to control the anxiety and not allow it to control them. We all have anxiety to some degree, it's just how we deal with it. Imagine you are standing at the foot of a roller coaster looking up at it. Feeling those butterflies in the stomach would cause some to feel physically sick but others would be buzzing from the adrenaline high. I want clients to feel the latter, in control and ready to take on any challenge they face! You'd be surprised what a few relaxing breaths can do in an intense situation. Do you get that Monday morning feel? Sunday night, Saturday night... or all through the week? Have you tried hypnotherapy? What are my plans for this week? I’m taking myself on holiday and jumping on a plane to Florida. I'm going to be testing out several roller coasters, swimming with Rays at Discovery Cove and spending plenty of time on a sun lounger just taking in as much relaxation as I can by the pool. Even managed to squeeze in a massage in the Upper Class lounge at Gatwick on the way. Even us hypnotherapists need to relax occasionally. Why not book an appointment with me at my Harley Street clinic or in one of my clinics down in Sussex. For hypnotherapy, sports massage and personal training appointments please contact me on any of the contact details below. I look forward to hearing from you. The other day I was accepted on an acupuncture course for sports therapists which I start later in the month up in London. I'm so excited. I've wanted to do this for years! Also the Conviviality team, who are working with the amazing Matt Roberts, Personal Trainer, have invited me for a chat in Knightsbridge this week. I'm going to do just a little shopping while I'm there! In another development, Meridian 107 FM Community Radio Station in East Grinstead have asked me to sponsor their Breakfast Show. Listen out for me starting on the 23rd January. This week I’ve started my training for the Sussex Living Mid Sussex Marathon weekend in May. My running trainers have been dusted off and I treated myself to a new running strip. Those who know me know about the fish and animals that live with me. Fish can be a great source of relaxation, so I took myself off to Crawley and bought myself some new salt water fish and creepy crawlies. Take me into Gucci and I would probably buy nothing, take me in an aquatic shop and I’ll come out with half the shop and go back for the other half later. It's magical just watching them all whizz around in the corals and live rock. Please don't forget to read Sussex Living magazine as I try out different activities. Next month is all about exercising with the elderly. |
