![]() How many of you have stuck to your New Years resolutions? In fact how many of you actually made any? Were your resolutions to further yourself or to help others? I was just looking through comments on Facebook this weekend. A lot of people are quick to judge and very few offer alternative solutions. Have you ever thought about being part of the answer rather than leaving it to someone else. This weekend I watched a ‘YouTube’ video about a group of guys who whilst drinking at a bar used the offer of a beer and pizza to feed the homeless on the beach. They still got to enjoy their afternoon and also spread kindness to the less fortunate. I know in February a group are going to pack bags and take them out to the homeless in London. But my challenge to you is for the next time you walk past a homeless person. Just remember they are human beings, they just lost their way at some point, and don’t pity them, they don’t want this. If you can help, maybe by leaving them one of your unused blankets or a food parcel, you’d be surprised what a difference you could make. It’s turning wintery soon, that extra blanket or food might just make those freezing temperatures a little more bearable! As the saying goes “Be the change you want to see in the world.”- Gandhi So my resolution is to be part of the change, I want to be there as it grows from this small acorn to a mighty oak!
