Monday morning I was up bright and early and off to the Meridian 107 FM studios in East Grinstead to take part in the Breakfast show I sponsor with presenter Mark Dodson. I invited ‘Jane Pattenden’ a friend and fellow trainer to talk about her new qualification in ‘Hypopresive Training’. She put Mark through his paces but having man flu didn’t help him. Thursday I went up to number 1 Harley Street to view a new therapy room to rent, which I am hoping to rent through the Harley Street Therapy centre. The room I have chosen has the most amazing view over the start of Harley Street and down to the Coutts building opposite. I am hoping it will be all up and running within a month. I am busy exploring all the amazing outcomes you can achieve from using hypnotherapy. It’s so inspiring to help someone take control back of their own future in such a positive way, that they feel completely in control of. What’s planned for this week? I’m off to the radio station Monday morning presuming I can get through all the road works in East Grinstead which is a challenge in itself! I’m looking forward to catching up with all my clients to hear about how much they’ve achieved since I last saw them. It was all lights cameras action last week in the life of Becky Wells. I was invited to an on-camera test for a new documentary with Back2Back productions. Absolutely loved the experience and although I didn’t get picked, would happily do it all over
again. The previous weekend I was lucky enough to be invited up to Matt Roberts Studio in Mayfair to train with his Personal Training teams from his London gyms. Great experience and learnt some extra tips for my personal training work. I Thought I’d demonstrate my hypnotherapy skills on Mark Dodson at Meridian 107FM’s local community station last week aswell. I used a suggestibility test and found out that Mark is a great candidate for hypnosis and I left him bemused at how words could make his fingers feel like they’re stuck together with invisible glue. After a great demo, I head off to the New York Coffee shop in East Grinstead for my regular Monday morning caffeine intake. It’s been a busy working week booking in lots of new hypnotherapy and sports massage clients. I have just put a new set of packages up on my website incorporating hypnotherapy and Personal Training. For more details feel free to take a look at www.beckywells.com. I’m really enjoying getting involved with sport performance hypnotherapy, which is showing great results and I may have to investigate working with one or some of the local sports teams. What did I do this weekend? I’ve been over in Gran Canaria investigating treatments at a spa. The spa experience consisted of a series of 14 different rooms, including a womb room with a waterbeds and meditation music, a salt water pool to float in like the dead sea, an ice cave and a series of extreme hot and cold experiences over the course of four hours, It’s a tough job but someone needed to test all these treatments out. Set in an amazing hotel called the Lopesan Corallium Spa Costa Meloneras, just a few steps from the beach with the most amazing infinity pool I’ve ever seen! Listen out for me on the Breakfast show Meridian 107fm the Local Community radio station in East Grinstead on Monday mornings after 9am. Last week I went up to Knightsbridge for an informal interview with Matt Roberts Personal Training team. I met a very professional lady called Vicky at the training studio and have been lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to work with the team as an associate personal trainer after being selected from over 100 applicants apparently. Looks like this could be an exciting new step, watch this space. Whilst in Knightsbridge I thought I’d pop into Harrods and whilst chatting to the sales guy, he offered to put my business card up in the staff room. Now wouldn’t that be something, getting a client from Harrods! Saturday I was wearing my other hat following stories for my Sussex Living articles. A local small holding phoned me to say their sheep had started lambing. You can’t beat seeing a lamb being born; it melts your heart when they let out that first bleat. Read all about it in the March issue of Sussex Living. I’ve given a sports massage voucher to the Burgess Hill Pamper Shopping & Craft Event for Breast Cancer care for their raffle. The event is taking place on Friday 30th March between 6pm and 9:30pm at Burgess Hill School for Girls. Let’s support the event, it's such a worthy cause. I’m off to London this weekend to start my acupuncture training with Bernard Nolan and somewhere in between, I need to plan what exercise regime I’m going to put Mark, the Meridian FM Breakfast presenter, through when I go on the show next Monday.
